Abstract
PURPOSE:To produce a small-loss piezoelectric vibrator by forming a structure, where piezoelectric substance layers and conductor layers are laminated alternately, through a specific process. CONSTITUTION:Mask 31 having pattern 32 is put on base stand 30 of the piezoelectric substance, and slurry of pieszoelectric porcelain materials is coated onto pattern 32 by squeeze 33. After this slurry is dried to form piezoelectric substance 10, electrode layers 11 and 12 of silver paste are formed similarly to above. Their forms are set properly according to a required electrostatic capacity value by mask 31 of a plane-plate type, mesh type and so on. After repeating two processes above to constitute a lamintating material, this material is cut into a desired size in parallel with the plane, and cut materials are calcinated. Next, a DC voltage is applied across respective electrodes to polarize piezoelectric substance 10. In this case, since the piezoelectric substance is divided into thin layers, it is sufficient if a comparatively low voltage is applied. After that, conductive layers 13a-13c are stuck to laminating faces of the laminating material, and electrode layers are connected electrically for every layer to constitute an inter-digital electrode, thus obtaining a low-loss piezoelectric vibrator.
