Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase the speed of start up under a low temperature by providing a section channel via a carburetor to an air supply port of an internal combustion engine with an convex wherein an auxiliary fuel for start up is stored.
CONSTITUTION: A carburetor 10 is connected to an air cleaner not shown in the drawing, at an upper part of a top open port 20, and is also connected to a suction passage of a machinery at an extension of a horizontal port 18. And in a horizontal passage, a rotary screw valve 16 controlling a sectional area of an opening of a main nozzle 56 is disposed. Further in a bottom of a passage in the upstream side, an convex 66 is provided, and an auxiliary passage 68 for the start up is opened above the convex 66, keeping a required amount of fuel for the start up. Side wall 72, is provided with a transparent plastic board 76 with mark lines 80, enabling one to feed an auxiliary fuel to the mark by measuring with the eye.
