Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the construction of a front brake and decrease mounting spaces of a braking device, by conducting operating forces of a brake pedal to front and rear brake units and those of a brake lever to the front brake unit.
CONSTITUTION: A front brake unit 20 is constituted by a disk 21 and caliper 22. Two pistons 23, 24 are independently provided in the caliper 22, and brake pads 25, 26 are independently pressed respectively to the disk 21 by each of the pistons 23, 24. The piston 25 is actuated by the oil pressure generated in a master cylinder 8 by a brake pedal 7. While the piston 24 is actuated by the oil pressure generated in a master cylinder 11 by a brake lever 10. Here a rear brake unit 4 comprises a disk 5 and caliper 6 similarly as conventionally provided.
