Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of drain in an oil reservoir by providing a bypass pipe line to bypass an oil cooler between the oil reservoir and a compressor and a throttle valve on the bypass line thereof.
CONSTITUTION: Between an oil reservoir 3 and a compressor 2, a bypass pipe line 14 is provided to bypass an oil cooler 23, and on this bypass pipe line 14, a throttle valve 24 is provided to control the amount of oil to be supplied to a compressor 10 when the oil temperature is low into a level only necessary for lubrication and sealing. In this construction, when the oil temperature is low, since a switch valve 12 is changed over to supply oil to the compressor 2 by an amount only necessary for lubrication, sealing, and cooling works via the bypass pipe line 14 without cooling the oil, the air in the oil reservoir 3 can be rapidly raised. Consequently, a high temperature is constantly maintained without reference to the amount of air usage, and the generation of drain can be prevented in the oil reservoir 3.
