Abstract

PURPOSE:To smooth the sliding contact of a commutator plate with brushes and improve the wear resistance and lifetime of the plate, by coupling a plate connecting pillar to the end of an oil storage cylinder and fitting the commutator plate on the pillar. CONSTITUTION:An oil storage cylinder 1 is fitted in the gap between a core 5 and a commutator plate 8. A plate coupling pillar 2 is conjoined to the end of the oil storage cylinder 1 so that a bushing is provided. An oil send-out groove 2a is provided on the peripheral surface of the plate coupling pillar 2 to conduct oil out of the oil storage cylinder to the surface of the commutator plate. The bushing is fitted on a shaft 6 extending through the core 5. The commutator plate 8 is fitted on the coupling pillar 2. This results in improving the lubrication of the sliding contact part of the commutator plate on brushes and lengthening the lifetime of the plate.
