Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the accuracy of detection time without widening the band width of band pass filter, by performing phase modulation to the transmission carrier and using the correlativity detection effect at the reception section. CONSTITUTION:The transmission pulse 110 is modulated 110 with the parker code, and further it is subjected to phase modulation into the signal 104, which is transmitted toward a satellite as the self station signal. The reception section gates the self station signal 105 returned from the satellite by the time given by the gate signal 102 to obtain the signal 106. Further, the reception section produces the same signal 111 as being transmitted as the self station signal within the time given by the gate signal 102, it is mixed with the signal 106 to obtain the signal 112. The signal 112 is inputted to the band pass filter to produce the output such as the signal 107. The output 107 is decreased for the amplitude increasing at first when the phase is changed. Thus, even if the output 107 is detected with the envelope detector and the amplitude of the output 108 is inspected for the amplitude at the threshold value detector, no output 113 is obtained if time error is more or less present and the time error can strictly be checked.
