Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for the joint of an iron core and to reduce core loss by arranging divided pieces of pipe around a portion of the iron core and unifying them into a pipe, and winding the pipe as rotating it, with a portion of wire for coil fixed to a portion of the pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A wound core 1 consisting of the transformer steel tape rectangularly or elliptacally lap-wound is left uncut, and a plurality of divided insulators, such as Bakelite, is arranged around a portion of the core, and unified into a circular or polygonal pipe 2. Then, one end of wire for coil 3 is fixed to a portion of the pipe 2 with adhesive tape 5 or the like, and when the pipe 2 is rotated by belt 4, or chain, or gears, a coil 7 is wound with wire 3 around the surface of the wound core 1. Thus, the wound core 1 has no joint. Therefore, permeability is raised, core loss is reduced, and the cross section of the wound core 1 is allowed to be small, so that the whole can be compact.
