Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent incomplete conbustion by reason that the throttle valve is opened before a brake valve is fully opened, by arranging an accelerator controlling apparatus such that the throttle valve begins to open after an accelerator switch is opened, for instace, at this time of operating the accelerator pedal when exhaust brake is in operation.
CONSTITUTION: When accelerator pedal 16 is depressed under the state, for instance, that the exhaust brake system is used for promoting warming-up of engine at the time of engine warming operation, level 25 of accelerator controlling apparatus 22a is turned clockwise around shaft 26 by means of rod 28. Here, until lever 25 comes into abutment with opening 30a of lever 30, it is turned alone through an angle θ. At the same time, accelerator switch 17 is turned OFF and brake valve 1 is opened. After the lever 25 has come into abutment with opening 30a of lever 30 subsequently, lever 30 is turned together and throttle valve 21 is opened by the aid of rod 23, whereby the revolutional speed of engine is increased.
