Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to confirm a marker image for any luminance level of the background picture by changing the luminance level of the marker image according to the luminance level of the background of the marker image.
CONSTITUTION: Picture data stored in memory 1 is read through memory controller 2 on the basis of the output pulse of pulse oscillator 11. The read digital signal is converted to an analogue signal and is given to picture display equipment 6 through switching circuit 4 as a luminance signal. Meanwhile, X signal and Y signal of the marker are led out from marker signal generator 7 as digital values and are led into the input terminal of coincidence circuit 8. On the other hand, outputs of X signal generator 9 and Y signal generator 10 are led into coincidence circuit 8. When X-Y coordinates agree with each other, a coincidence signal is so led out that the output signal of luminance correction circuit 5 may be a luminance signal for picture display equipment 6.
