Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate the constitution of copying machine, by developing and processing with the developing roller formed with absorbing member press-fitted to the drum, by conveying the recording body on which is formed a latent image by a rotating drum.
CONSTITUTION: A copying paper 8 supplied from a guide plate 7 is secured at one end by means of a holding pawl 9 provided in a rotating drum 6, and is conveyed in cooperation with the rotation of the drum 6. The latent image of the original formed on the copying paper 8 is developed and processed in wet process by means of a conveying/developing roller 13 formed with an absorbing member which rotates in pressure contact with the drum 6, and excess developer is removed by squeezing of a roller 13. Then, the copying paper 8 is discharged through conveying/drying roller 14 pressure contacted to the drum 6, discharge roller 15, etc., and the surface of the drum 6 is cleaned by means of a drum cleaner 17. Therefore, the conveying system is simplified thanks to the combination rolls, and the developing roll is used commonly as squeeze roll, so that the constitution of the copying machine may be simplified.
