Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to form sensible image of high quality, by applying AC bias current to the developing roller of wet type development processing device, and cleaning and removing the solid matter of developer.
CONSTITUTION: The latent image of a photoreceptor 6 is formed with central body 2, elastic body 3, net-like body 4, etc., and is developed and processed into a sensible image in the process of squeezing of developer absorbed in the developing roller 14 press-fitted to the photoreceptor 6, removal of excess developer to the roller 14, and re-absorption. AC bias current is applied to this roller 14 from AC power source 17 through the central body 2, and the excess developer is removed and re- absorbed. As a result, the solid matter in the developer deposited on the surface of the roller 14 becomes to floating state, and is throughly removed by the cleaner 16. Then, the roller 14 is replaced with the absorbed developer by means of a refresh roller 15. In this constitution, the sensible image may not be scraped off by the solid developer deposited on the roller 14, and clogging of the roller 14 does not occur, so that sensible images of good quality may be formed continuously.
