Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the driving power of sounding body, decrease the dispersion of resonant frequency, and miniaturize the constitution, by forming a thin film of beryllium or the like having an excellent specific modulus of elasticity on the back of an insulating vibrating thin film. CONSTITUTION:A conductive wire 13 is evaporated or etched on the top of an insulating vibrating thin film 5 made from polyimide, mylar or the like to form a conductive metal substance. A metal substance excelling in specific modulus of elasticity (Young's modulus/density), such as beryllium and titanium, is evaporated or sputtered on the back of the vibrating thin film 5 to form a metallic thin film diaphragm 5a. Another vibrating thin film 25 is supported on its outer circumference from the top and back faces by means of insulating fixed thin plate rings 3, 4 which are secured to the vibrating thin film, and is fastened to circular thin plate yokes 1, 2 with fixing rings 6, 7. A pair of permanent magnets 8, 9 are adhered and secured to thin plate yokes 1, 2 respectively. Thus, the dispersion of resonant frequency of the vibrating thin film may be reduced, and the size may be also miniaturized.
