Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:Compounds of formula I (A1, A2 are lower alkylene; X is H or halogen; R is acyloxy, carboxy or hydroxyalkyl).
EXAMPLE: 3-(4-Acetoxypiperidino)carbonylmethyl-5-chloro-2-benzothiazoline.
USE: Antiallergic and antiflammatory agents.
PREPARATION: The reaction of a compund of formula II or its reactive derivative with a compound of formula III or its reactive derivative gives the objective compound of formula I. Further the objective compound bearing acyloxy group as R is prepared by acylating a compound of formula IV with an acylation agent. The reaction of a compound of formula V (R1b is haloalkanoyloxy) with a dialkylamine or its salt yields the objective compound bearing dialkylaminoalkanoyloxy group as R.
