Abstract

PURPOSE: A propylene polymer modified with unsaturated carboxylic acid and an amorphous propylene polymer are kneaded together to produce title composition with outstanding adhesion to a variety of base materials as high polymers, and metals.
CONSTITUTION: (A) a modified propylene polymer with a melt index of preferably 0.1W100 prepared by reacting at least one part of crystalline propylene polymer with at least one of monomer selected from unsaturated carboxylic aicds preferably acrylic acid, and their anhydrides, (B) an amorphous propylene polymer with a melt index of preferably 0.1W100, preferably propyleneethylene block copolymer and, when necessary, (C) an ethylene polymer are kneaded where the suitable composition of components A, B and C ranges in the zone satisfying equation I and II. The combination of component C especially improves adhesion in a low-temperature zone.
USE: Materials for packaging, construction, vehicle parts, electric appliance and furniture.
