Abstract
PURPOSE:To continuously record the running photosensitive film by converting the ultrasonic waves from an object, which are received by a sensor, into electric signals so that they may be lit by a diode and that the resultant light may be guided by optical fibers. CONSTITUTION:The electric signals indicating the existence of the flaws at each depth of a test piece 1 are fed through a multiplexer 8 to a drive circuit 9 to sequentially light emitting diodes 10a to 10n which are provided at respective depthes. These lights are condensed by lenses 11a to 11n and are guided into optical fibers 12a to 12n so that they are recorded in running photosensitive film 13. On the other hand, the speed of the test piece 1 is detected by a pulse generator 16 and fed through a converter 17 to a pulse motor signal generating circuit 18 so that a pulse motor 19 is controlled by the resultant signals. The film 13 being conveyed in synchronism with the piece 1 is recorded with the lights from the diodes 10a to 10n, which are guided by the optical fibers 12a to 12n, in the form of dots or lines. Thus, it is possible to know the size and location of the flaws from the optical marks.
