Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect the absolute address within the cross section besides the position detection with the cross pitch of the crossing parallel lines used as the minimum unit, by detecting the absolute address of the mobile object within the cross section of the crossing parallel lines based on the phase difference between the 1st and 2nd composite signal. CONSTITUTION:Three antennas 16A, 16B and 16C are distributed with a shift between so that the two of the antennas feature the coupling levels which are opposite to each other when the other antenna's level is almost 0. And the signals of the two antennas are compounded with the shift of nearly 240 deg. and 120 deg. each against to the reference signal of the other antenna, thus producing the 2nd composite signal. Then the absolute address is detected (18) for mobile object 14 within the cross section of crossing parallel lines 12 based on the phase difference between the 1st and 2nd composite signals. Thus, the absolute address can be detected within the cross section in addition to the position detection with the cross pitch of lines 12 used as the minimum unit P.
