Abstract
PURPOSE: To allow the excellent watching of packed contents from the outside due to high transparency, to prevent the charging of a film due to superior conductivity, to obviate the dangers of discharge break and to be particularly effective for the packing of electronic parts.
CONSTITUTION: A transparent conductive layer mainly consisting of indium oxide is mounted to both surfaces of a transparent polyester film with 6W35μ thickness. The transparent conductive layer of a film for packing is a layer mainly consisting of indium oxide; one example is an indium oxide tin layer produced by doping 3W 10wt% tin oxide to indium oxide. The transparnt conductive layer is obtained by oxidation treating the film of indium oxide or indium low oxide, which is formed by the spattering of indium oxide, the reactivity evaporation of indium metal, the reactivity spattering of indium metal, etc. as necessary. Oxidation treatment is performed by heating said film under an oxygen atmosphere or by exposing it to the glow of oxygen.
