Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the freeze of cooling water by arranging each damper at the inlet and exit of an air-cooled type cooling apparatus which re-cools cooling medium and on-off-controlling the dampers according to the temperature of the cooling medium.
CONSTITUTION: The dampers 16 and 18 are opened or closed by motors 15 and 17 so that the temperature of cooling water which is detected by a temperature detecting part 19 is kept within a fixed range for the standard temperature of cooling water which is controlled by a comparison circuit 20A. For example, when the temperature of water to be controlled is 10W11°C, and the temperature of water which is detected by the temperature detecting part 19 is 5°C, the dampers 16 and 18 are closed to reduce the amount of cooling wind, and the motors 15 and 17 are controlled to keep the temperature of water at 10W11°C, and the temperature of water is increased. If the temperature of water rises above the standard value, the dampers 16 and 18 are opened to increase the amont of cooling wind, and the moters 15 and 17 and the dampers 16 and 18 are controlled to lower the temperature of cooling water. Thus, the freeze of cooling water can be prevented
