Abstract

CONSTITUTION: When constant open contact 1 is inactive, signal receiving relay 3 is excited by power source E+ via resistance 4. Furthermore, voltage relay 5 is also excited by E+ via resistance 4, transmission circuit 2 plus terminal 11 and 12 of contact 1. If circuit 2 has disconnection under these conditions, only relay 5 is deenergized to result in the detection of the disconnection. With disconnection of line 6 or 7 when contact 1 is active, relay 3 is excited with relay 5 unexcited to detect the disconnection.
