Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate next tensioning, by elastically deforoming numerous blades for cutting off silicon, quartz or similars and by elimenating the scatter of deflection of the blades and by making the blades rectilinear.
CONSTITUTION: A tensioning jig is fitted and positioned inside a blade fixing unit 10. Spacers 2 are inserted between the blades 1 in accordance with spacer grooves 11 below both the ends of the blades 1 projecting from a block frame 3. Two side fixing screws 12 are tightened to cause required tension. Then, jig pushing screws 7W9 are loosened and distance plates 6 are separated from the blades 1. Thereby, the blades are uniformly fixed straight on the unit 10 at an interval equal to the thickness of the plates 6, namely, the spacers 2. This facilitates the next tensioning by tensioner bolts 13
