Abstract
PURPOSE:To partially inject liquid samples accurately, by removing excessive samples adhering to a nose portion of a suction and exhaust pipe by contacting the nose portion with contact portion materials before first discharge after samples are sucked by means of the suction and exhaust pipe. CONSTITUTION:When starting partial injection, a probe 18 is moved just above a sample vessel 44 by driving a motor 12, by turning an intermediate shaft 2 and by shifting an arm 1. A plunger 35 slightly falls by the revolution of a pulse motor 41, and air 69 is sucked to a nose of the probe 18. A motor 15 turns, the probe 18 falls and is inserted into the sample vessel 44, samples 58 are sucked by means of the pulse motor 41 and the probe 18 is lifted, but a large quantity of samples 58 adhere to the nose of the probe 18 at that time. The accuracy of partial injection is improved because the quantity of adhesion is minimized by contacting the nose of the probe 18 with a base of a washing tank 60 before partially injecting the samples into a receptor 70.
