Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an automatic liquid sampler of good reproducibility while retaining the advantage of a hermetically closed sample bottle by providing an air guide for an air hole in a sample vessel into which the needle of an introducing device such as micro-syringe is inserted aside from the syringe in said sample vessel. CONSTITUTION:At the time when a micro-syringe 6 sucks the liquid sample 21 in a sample bottle 12, it lowers together with a syringe support 7, and the leading end of a needle 25 is inserted into a rubber cap 18. A spring 17 is compressed as it is pressed by the descending support 7, whereby a syringe guide 9 is lowered as well. An air guide 19 is inserted into the cap 18 aside from the tip of the needle 25. The guide 19 is made into a pipe shape and permits in and out of air even when it is inserted into the bottle 12 through the cap 18. No air bubbles remain in the syringe in spite of suction of a set volume after a number of times of repetition of the suction and discharging of the sample in the bottle 12. According to this device, errors of reproducibility are improved up to about 2% while the advantage of the absence of the evaporation of the sample is retained.
