Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the cooling effect of a rotor by controlling the packing leak steam amount of a reheated steam turbine.
CONSTITUTION: A portion of the leak steam which leaks from each exit part of the first stage stationary vanes and moving vanes of a high pressure turbine 2 and passes to the reheating turbine 3 side through a shaft packing 5, is fed to the inlet part of the reheating turbing 3 through the blow-down steam system 27. The residual leak steam, after passing through the shaft packding 5, passes through the system 8 of the high pressure turbine 2 and the low temperature steam passage 25, and is mixed with the low temperature steam from an introducing port 25a, and the rotor of the reheating turbine 3 is cooled. At this time, the amount of low temperature steam and the ejection amount of leak steam are controlled by adjusting the throttle ratio of the throttle machanisms 26 and 28 of the low temperature steam passage 25 and the blow-down steam path 27 respectively, and the cooling steam is controlled at the optimum temperature and flow-rate for rotor cooling.
