CONSTITUTION: In general, program controller 26 performs automatic address update operation during the arithmetic operation of arithmetic controller 25, and controller 25 is stationary during the program branch operation. Within the specific bit range of microinstructions, pipeline registers 11 to 23 are grouped into two, registers 13 to 17 and registers 19 to 23, which are connected to controllers 25 and 26 respectively by double arrangement. Further, the control part performing stationary operation is provided with automatic program-address update constant data generating circuit 24 so as to shorten the instruction bit length. Control signals for them are generated by instruction type decoder circuit 27. Output data to controllers 25 and 26 are outputted independently by registers of double constitution and circuit 24, so that no signal propagation delay will occur.
