Abstract
PURPOSE: To spin hollow fibers having improved dialysis property, by extruding a cellulose ester solution in an organic solvent through an annular slit into a hollow filament shape and a specific liquid through the inner part.
CONSTITUTION: A cellulose ester is dissolved in an organic solvent. The solution is extruded through an annular slit, preferably perpendicularly downward, and a core liquid consisting mainly of at least one type of glycol selected from the group consisting of polyethylene glycol, triethylene glycol, diethylene, ethylene, butylene, propylene glycols, 1, 4-butanediol, and 1, 3-butanediol, is extruded into the hollow part of the spinning solution in the shape of a filament. Thus, hollow fibers having thin and uniform membrane wall and improved dialysis property can be obtained.
