Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the absorption of the dissolved gas of ink by making a bag with a highly flexible plastic film whose surfaces have undergone aluminum lamination and filling the deaerated ink therein. CONSTITUTION:An ink tank 5 is made by the plastic film which is made stronger and easier to fabricate by sandwiching an aluminum foil having perfect gas barrier properties with polyethylene, polyester, nylon or other and laminating these to 3 or 4 layers. The deaerated ink is filled therein. Such constitution obviates the transmission of the gas in the air through the plastic film 5 and absorption in the ink, thus enabling the long-term stable ink jet recording to be performed.
