Abstract
PURPOSE: To shorten an output rising period, by estimating a reactor core flow and a control rod pattern at a re-starting time on the basis of the plant data and the iodine and xenon density distribution data.
CONSTITUTION: At a nuclear reactor 1 are located detectors for control rod position neutron flux, cooling material flow, temperature, pressure etc. Plant data signals 2 from the detectors are input to a reactor core performance computer 3 which computes a reactor core performance. A performance data signal 4 computed by the computer 3 is input to a data tracing device 5. The data tracing device 5 memories the reactor core conditions which are just prior to scramaging, such as a reactor output distrubution, a void hysteresis distribution, a combustion degree distribution, and a control rod position. The device 5 further computes a xenon and iodine distribution, and transfers a standdard data 6 to a reactor output distribution estimating device 7. Estimated results, which are given from the estimating device 7 regarding the reactor core flow and the control rod pattern, are output to an indicator 11 togetherwith the results which are compared with a limiting condition 9 by means of a comparator 10.
