Abstract
PURPOSE: To collect foreign materials by means of a compound type filtering layer and to enable re-use of a filtered liquid, by processing waste water through a sloping filtering layer filled with a filtering material, which consists of accumulated material, between two screen filtering materials.
CONSTITUTION: A filtering layer 1 is formed in such manner that fills a filtering material 6, which consists of an accumulated material, such as fibrous material and the like, into a space formed between a screen filtering material 2 being a upper surface and another screen filtering material 5 which supports from below. Water 7 to be processed is jetted through a supply port 8, and is flown downward along the sloping filtering layer 1. Large solid substances in water to be processed slip down over a surface of the screen filtering material 2, and fall down onto a chute 10. On the other hand, fine solid substances in the liquid filtered at the filtering material 2 are eliminated for the duration of passing through the filtering material 6, which consists of the accumulated object, having a long passing process due to a slope. The foreign material mixed in water 7 to be processed can thus be completely removed, and the filtered liquid can be re-used as clean water.
