Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide an odorless, three-pack type hair-bleaching agent having high safety, which oxidizes and bleaches the melanin in hair at a pH near the pH of the skin.
CONSTITUTION: A three-pack type hair-bleaching agent consisting of (1) the first agent composed of hydrogen sulfite such as soldium sulfite, sodium hydrogen sulfite, etc. dispersed in an organic solvent such as ethyl alcohol, (2) the second agent composed of a ferric salt such as ferric sulfate, ferric chloride, etc., and (3) the third agent composed of a slution containing hydrogen peroxide. The hair to be treated is lightly rinsed with the first agent to improve the adsorption and absorption of the second and the third agents, treated with the second agent to adsorb the ferric ion to hair, washed with water, and treated with the third agent to oxidize and bleach the melanin pigment effectively.
