Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a decorative sheet of a thermosetting resin with a protrusion pattern, by putting a sheet of prepreg with a protrusion formed with a specific ink on its surface on a base, followed by hot-pressing the prepreg with a cushioning sheet on it.
CONSTITUTION: The surface of the prepreg 2 impregnated with a thermosetting resin, e.g., phenolic or melamine resin, is printed by ink obtained by modifying the same kind of thermosetting resin as used in impregnation with an acrylate to form the protrusion pattern 3 on its surface. The prepreg 2 is preferably covered with the protective film 4. The prepreg 2 and the base 1 are held between the hot presses 6 and 7 and hot-pressed with the cushioning layer 5 placed on the prepreg 2.
