Abstract

PURPOSE: To effectively prevent the contamination, by using air which is sucked and cleaned independently of air from an air intake fan.
CONSTITUTION: An air pump 1, a cleaner 2 consisting of a filter and a surge tank integrated with each other, and a detergent tank 3 are provided. The pump 1, the cleaner 2 and the tank 3 are connected to an air passage 15 and a branch passage 17. The external air is introduced into the cleaner 2 through an intake port 5 by the sucking action of the air pump 1. The introduced air is cleaned and then flows into an air passage 12 though the air passage 15 and the branch passage 17. Thereafter, the air is projected from thin holes 13 to the surface 11b of each stationary blade 11 through a compressor 9 and internal holes 11a of the blade. The surface 11b of the blade is coated with the air so that extraneous substances are prevented from adhering to the surface. A solenoid valve 19 is appropriately opened to mix the cleaned air with a detergent to wash the blade surface 11b.
