Abstract

PURPOSE: A rubber composition in which a salt of mercaptobenzo-1,3-diazole is incorporated to a rubber to prevent the stain of molds without any adverse effect on the physical properties of vulcanized products.
CONSTITUTION: To 100 parts by wt of rubber are incorporated 0.05 - 5, preferably 0.1 - 4 parts of a salt of mercaptobenzo-1,3-diazole of the formula (R is H, hydrocabon of 1 - 12C; M is Ca, Mg, Ba, A1, Ti Si; n is 2 - 4). The metal of the diazole salt is preferably Ca, Mg, or A1.
