Abstract

PURPOSE: The title light stabilizer, scarcely lowering physical properties and heat stability, consisting of a specific cyclic amin compound and a polyurethane resin.
CONSTITUTION: A) 1W50 parts by wt. of one or more steric hindered cyclic amine compound shown by the formula [X is an organic group, forming 5W7 membered nitrogen-containing cycle; R1 and R2 are lower alkyl, or may form the group (CH2)5; R3 and R4 are lower alkyl, or may form the group (CH2)4, (CH2)5, CH2- C(CH3)2-NH-C(CH3)2-CH2; n is 1W2, when n is 1, Y is H, O, hydroxyl, (substituted)alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, (substituted)aralkyl, when n is 2, Y is alkylene, alkenylene, alkynylene, cycloalkylene, aralkylene] is blended with B) 99W50 parts by wt. of a polyurethane resin obtained by reacting a) a polyester polyol having an average molecular weight of 500W5000 with b) a polyisocyanate.
