Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the machinability, the corrosion resistance, the wear resistance and the workability of the Al-Si-Mg alloy, by dispersing the eutectic structure and the acicular Si crystals of primary crystal in the matrix as fine particles by performing the working and heat treatment while accelerating the cooling rate of the AlSi-Mg alloy.
