(57)【要約】 【課題】 車輌のリヤシートを多目的に使用できるよう
にさせる。 【解決手段】 主シートバック（５）の後部に床に埋設
自在な予備シートバック（７）を床（６）に対してヒン
ジ止めし、予備シートバック（７）の床（６）への埋
設、床（６）に対して起立、床（６）に対してのフルフ
ラットを可能とさせる。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、自動車用シートに
関し、特に詳述すれば、シートバック後方に予備シート
バックを有する自動車用シートに関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】バンタイプの車等ではリヤシートを荷室
のフロア（床）に設け、荷物積載時には、リヤシートを
フロア面に折り畳んで荷室フロアを広く使えるようにさ
せることが、しばしばなされる。この例は実公平７−２
７２３９号公報に開示されるが、これは荷物積載空間を
広げることを主目的としたものであるから、乗員の安ら
ぎを得る工夫がなされていない。
【０００３】ＲＵ系のリヤシートにはフルフラットを可
能とさせることで乗員の室内での快適な生活を可能とさ
せてはいるが、たとえば、前方の席との対面ができなか
ったり、前方の席との対面が可能であっても、足元が狭
かったり、又、シート部分の面積が少ないといった制約
がある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】本発明は、前述した従
来の自動車用シートを考慮し、乗員の脚を前方へ引伸し
た状態で座れ、フルフラットにしたとき乗員の仮眠を可
能とし、又、フロントシートを後向きとしても足元スペ
ースを充分確保可能とさせるシートを提供することを解
決すべき課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は、前述した課題
を解決するために、床に埋設自在な予備シートバックを
用いることを基本的手段とする。
【０００６】具体的には、本発明は、車両の床に支持さ
れたシートクッションと、シートクッションに対し後傾
可能に保持された主シートバックと、シートクッション
の後方部に位置しかつ床に埋設された予備シートバック
を有し、予備シートバックが床から起立自在な自動車用
シートを提供する。
【０００７】本発明によれば、予備シートバックをラッ
ゲージフロア（床）に埋設させることで、リヤシートを
通常の形に使用でき、ラッゲージフロアを拡く利用でき
る。リクライニング機構を用いてシートバックを倒し、
予備シートバックを起すと、脚を伸ばして座れる広いシ
ートクッションとなり、予備シートバックを倒せば、フ
ルフラットシートとなり、横になっての仮眠が可能とな
る。フロントシートを後方に向けても足元のスペースを
充分確保できる。

【発明の実施の形態】本発明の一例の自動車用シート１
は、図１に示す如く、車両の床２に支持されたシートク
ッション３と、シートクッション３に対し通常のリクラ
イニング機構４を介して傾動自在に支持された主シート
バック５と、ラッゲージフロア６に埋設自在な予備シー
トバック７とから構成される。図１は通常の使用状態を
示す。
【０００９】図２に、主シートバック５を後方へフラッ
トに倒し、予備シートバック７を起立させた状態を示
す。この例では、予備シートバック７用のくぼみ８は主
シートバック５により閉じられる。予備シートバック７
はリクライニング機構９を中心に回動する。リクライニ
ング機構９は予備シートバック７のフロア埋設状態、シ
ートバック状態およびフルフラット状態の三つの状態を
作り得る公知の機構のものでよい。
【００１０】図３に予備シートバック７をフルフラット
とした状態を示す。この状態は横になっての仮眠に最適
である。フロントシート１０、１０を後方へ回動して
も、足元のスペースを充分確保できる。図４に予備シー
トバック５の図２と図３の状態を作る構成を示す。予備
シートバック５の裏面は、Ｕ字状のブラケット１１にそ
の両端を枢支したステー１２を有す。ステー１２の水平
部は床６に設けた溝１３、１４の何れか一方に着座さ
せ、予備シートバック５の姿勢を選択可能とさせる。ス
テー１２は、予備シートバック５の裏面に設けたステー
相当形状の溝１５に収納可能である。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 車両の床に支持されたシートクッション
    と、シートクッションに対し後傾可能に保持された主シ
    ートバックと、シートクッションの後方部に位置しかつ
    床に埋設された予備シートバックを有し、予備シートバ
    ックが床から起立自在な自動車用シート。
  2. 【請求項２】 主シートバックがフラットシートとなる
    請求項１記載の自動車用シート。
  3. 【請求項３】 予備シートバックがフラットシートとな
    る請求項２記載の自動車用シート。
  4. 【請求項４】 予備シートバックの裏面に枢支されたス
    テーの水平部が床の溝に納り、予備シートバックの姿勢
    を保つ請求項３記載の自動車用シート。
