(57)【要約】 【課題】 使い捨ておむつにおける吸液性パッド部材を
尿道口近傍に確実に当接する。 【解決手段】 使い捨ておむつが、カバー部材２と吸液
性パッド部材３とで構成される。カバー部材２は、尿道
口近傍を覆う部位８が、おむつ幅方向に弾性伸縮性を有
する。パッド部材３は、カバー部材２の内面に取り付け
られ、尿道口を覆う部位とその近傍とが、カバー部材２
において尿導口とその近傍を覆っている部位１８に対し
て、おむつ幅方向で互いに離間する２箇所５１と５２と
において接合する。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【発明の属する技術分野】この発明は、使い捨ておむつ
に関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】特開平８−１１２３０８号公報に開示の
パンツ型使い捨ておむつは、おむつ着用者の排尿部近傍
の部位におむつ幅方向へ延びる弾性部材が伸長状態で取
り付けられている。かかるおむつは、排尿部近傍のフィ
ット性が向上すると説明されている。
【０００３】特開平９−５６７４６号公報に開示のパン
ツ型体液吸収性着用物品は、パンツ型のカバー部材と、
カバー部材の内面に取り付けられ、カバー部材の股下域
を中心に前後胴周り域間に延在する吸液性パッドとで構
成されている。カバー部材は、脚周り開口の頂部近傍に
おいて胴周りを周回する弾性部材を有し、カバー部材の
股下域は、前後胴周り域方向への弾性伸縮性を有する。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】前記特開平８−１１２
３０８号公報によって公知のおむつは、トップシートと
バックシートとの間に吸液性コアが介在してなる吸液性
本体の胴周囲部に弾性部材を配置するもので、この弾性
部材は、おむつ胴周りを着用者にフィットさせることに
よって、排尿部近傍でのフィット性をも向上させること
ができる。ただし、かかるフィット性の向上とは、おむ
つを胴周りに側方から密着させるということであるか
ら、おむつを尿道口に対して下方から、または斜め下方
からフィットさせたいという要求に応えることはできな
い。
【０００５】前記特開平９−５６７４６号公報によって
公知のおむつは、股下域全体が前後方向へ伸縮するか
ら、股下域に位置する吸液性パッドを下方または斜め下
方から尿道口とその近傍に密着させることは可能である
が、股下域の全体が身体に密着して蒸れ易いという問題
が残る。加えて、その股下域に比較的高価な伸縮性シー
トを使用しなければならないから、製造コストの面にお
いて、このおむつは必ずしも有利であるとはいえない。
【０００６】この発明の解決課題は、吸液性パッドを尿
道口とその近傍に確実に密着させることが可能で、蒸れ
の少ない使い捨ておむつの提供である。
【０００７】
【課題を解決するための手段】前記課題解決のために、
この発明が前提とするのは、前後方向が前胴周り域と後
胴周り域とこれら両域間に位置する股下域とで構成さ
れ、胴周り開口と左右一対の脚周り開口とを有するパン
ツ型のカバー部材と、前記カバー部材の内面に取り付け
られて、前記股下域を中心に前記前後胴周り域方向へ延
びる吸液性パッド部材とを有する使い捨てのおむつであ
る。
【０００８】かかる前提において、この発明が特徴とす
るところは、次のとおりである。前記カバー部材は、前
記おむつ着用者の尿道口とその近傍を覆うおむつ前側の
幅方向中央部位が、弾性部材を介しておむつ幅方向に伸
縮性を有する。前記パッド部材は、透液性内面シートと
不透液性外面シートとこれら両シート間に介在する吸液
性コアとで構成され、おむつ幅方向へ延びる前後端縁部
とおむつ前後方向へ延びる両側縁部とを有する。前記パ
ッド部材の前後端縁部の外面が、前記カバー部材内面に
接合し、かつ、前記側縁部それぞれの外面が、前記カバ
ー部材の前記伸縮性を有する幅方向中央部位の内面に、
前記カバー部材の幅方向において互いに離間して接合し
ている。
【０００９】この発明の好ましい実施態様の一つにおい
て、前記パッド部材の吸液性コアには、該コア外面の幅
方向中央部に、該コアの折曲を容易にするおむつ前後方
向へ延びる溝が形成されている。
【００１０】実施態様の他の一つにおいて、前記パッド
部材の両側縁部には、おむつ前後方向へ延び、前記パッ
ド部材内面からの起立性向を有する防漏カフが形成さ
れ、該防漏カフは、前記内面との間に前記パッド部材内
方へ向かって開口可能なポケットを形成している。

【発明の実施の形態】添付の図面を参照して、この発明
に係る使い捨ておむつの詳細を説明すると、以下のとお
りである。
【００１２】図１に部分破断斜視図で示されたパンツ型
の使い捨ておむつ１は、パンツ型のカバー部材２と、カ
バー部材２の内面に取り付けられた吸液性パッド３とで
構成されている。
【００１３】カバー部材２は、その内外面を形成する同
形同大の２枚のシート１１，１２を重ね合わせて接着し
たもので、前後方向が前胴周り域６と、後胴周り域７
と、これら両域６，７間に位置する股下域８とで構成さ
れている。前後胴周り域６，７は、互いの側縁部で合掌
状に重なり合い、図において上下方向へ間欠的に並ぶ部
位９で接合して、胴周り開口１３と左右一対の脚周り開
口１４とを形成している。これら開口１３，１４の周縁
部では、胴周り弾性部材１６と脚周り弾性部材１７とが
周回し、これら弾性部材１６，１７それぞれが、重なり
合うシート１１，１２の少なくとも一方の内面に伸長状
態で接合している。カバー部材２の前胴周り域６および
／または股下域８であって、着用者の尿道口とその近傍
とを覆う部位１８には、カバー部材２の幅方向へ延びる
弾性部材２０がシート１１，１２間に位置し、これらシ
ート１１，１２のうちの少なくとも一方の内面に伸長状
態で接合している。シート１１，１２は、不織布やプラ
スチックフィルムからなるもので、好ましくは、内面側
のシート１１に通気不透液性のプラスチックフィルムを
使用し、外面側シート１２には、肌触りのよい通気性の
不織布を使用する。ただし、カバー部材２は、このよう
に２層構造のものに限らないから、例えばシート１１ま
たは１２の一方だけで構成することもできる。いずれの
シートの場合でも、弾性部材は、シートの内側に位置し
ていることが好ましい。
【００１４】図２、３は、図１のおむつ１を部位９にお
いて前後に剥離し、前後方向と幅方向とに伸展したとき
の平面図と、この伸展したおむつ１の分解破断斜視図で
ある。吸液性パッド３は、カバー部材２の内側にあっ
て、股下域８を中心に前後胴周り域６，７間に延在し、
前後両端部１６，１７の外面が、カバー部材２の前後胴
周り域６，７内面の部位２８，２９にホットメルト接着
剤を介して接合している（図３参照）。また、吸液性パ
ッド３の両側縁部の外面が、カバー部材２の部位１８に
対して、部材２の幅方向で互いに離間している２箇所５
１，５２で後記ホットメルト接着剤５５を介して接合し
ている。
【００１５】吸液性パッド３は、上面が透液性表面シー
ト２１で被覆され、下面が不透液性裏面シート２２で被
覆されたパッド本体２３と、本体２３の両側縁部に沿っ
て前後方向へ延びる左右一対の防漏カフ２４とを有す
る。図のカフ２４は、パッド本体２３に接合する基縁部
２６と、基縁部２６に平行する自由縁部２７とを有し、
基縁部２６においておむつ１の内方へ向かって倒伏し、
自由縁部２７がパッド本体２３の上面の一部分を覆い、
自由縁部２７の前後両端部３６，３７の内面が表面シー
ト２１に接合している。カフ２４は、自由縁部２７の頂
縁３１に弾性部材３３が伸長状態で取り付けられてい
る。
【００１６】図４は、図３のＩＶ−ＩＶ線矢視による断
面の部分図であるが、おむつ１の伸展をゆるめることに
よって、おむつ１の前後方向が吸液性パッド３を内側に
してやや湾曲し、防漏カフ２４が弾性部材３３の収縮に
よって起立している。カバー部材２では、２箇所の部位
５１，５２にパッド本体２３が接着剤５５を介して接合
し、弾性部材２０が収縮することによって、部位１８が
幅方向へ収縮して多数のギャザー２５が生じている。部
位１８とその近傍では、パッド本体２３が着用者の尿道
口（図示せず）とその近傍に向かって隆起している。
【００１７】パッド本体２３は、表裏面シート２１，２
２間に吸液性コア４１を有し、表裏面シート２１，２２
は、コア４１の四周から延出して重なり合い互いに接合
している。コア４１は、粉砕パルプまたは粉砕パルプと
高吸水性ポリマー粉末との混合物をティッシュペーパ
（図示せず）で被覆することにより構成されている。パ
ッド本体２３が図示のように隆起することを容易にする
ために、コア４１の下面には、幅方向中央で前後方向へ
延びる溝５０が形成されている。
【００１８】カフ２４は、自由縁部２７が表面シート２
１の上方へ起立し、カフ２４とパッド本体２３とで形成
しているポケット４８が大きく開口する。
【００１９】この発明は、図示例のパンツ型おむつの他
に、開放型のおむつで実施することもできる。構成部材
どうしを接合するには、ホットメルト接着剤等の接着剤
や粘着剤を使用したり、部材が熱溶融性のものであると
きには、溶着技術を利用したりすることができる。

【発明の効果】このように構成されたおむつは、着用者
の尿道口近傍において吸液性パッドの本体が隆起するこ
とによって、尿道口に下方または斜め下方から当接可能
であるから、着用者に対して吸液性パッドを側方のみか
ら圧接する従来技術のおむつに比べ、尿を速やかに、か
つ、確実に吸収することができる。股下域では、伸縮性
が局部的であるから、股下域の全体が着用者に圧接する
従来技術のおむつに比べ、蒸れが軽微になる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 前後方向が前胴周り域と後胴周り域とこ
    れら両域間に位置する股下域とで構成され、胴周り開口
    と左右一対の脚周り開口とを有するパンツ型のカバー部
    材と、前記カバー部材の内面に取り付けられて、前記股
    下域を中心に前記前後胴周り域方向へ延びる吸液性パッ
    ド部材とを有する使い捨てのおむつであって前記カバー
    部材は、前記おむつ着用者の尿道口とその近傍とを覆う
    おむつ前側の幅方向中央部位が、弾性部材を介しておむ
    つ幅方向に伸縮性を有し、 前記パッド部材は、透液性内面シートと不透液性外面シ
    ートとこれら両シート間に介在する吸液性コアとで構成
    され、おむつ幅方向へ延びる前後端縁部とおむつ前後方

    のおむつ。
  3. 【請求項３】 前記パッド部材の両側縁部には、おむつ
    前後方向へ延び、前記パッド部材内面からの起立性向を
    有する防漏カフが形成され、該防漏カフは、前記内面と
    の間に前記パッド部材内方へ向かって開口可能なポケッ
    トを形成している請求項１または２記載のおむつ。
