Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove snow by driving with a drive member for controlling a movable member vertically reciprocated along the upper face of an inclined roof by a control member. SOLUTION: A movable member 1 of substantially the same length as the ridge of an inclined roof 2 can be vertically reciprocated along the upper face of an inclined roof 2 through guide rails 5, 6 vertically attached to the center part and/or both the side parts of the inclined roof 2. A cable 14 is wound on rotation members 10-13 attached to the four-corner part of the inclined roof 2 in a tight state in substantially eight-shape, and the movable member 1 is driven by a drive mechanism 9 controlled by a sensor. When the rotation member 10 is rotated by the motor 9 of the drive mechanism 15 clockwise, the cable 14 wound in the substantially eight-shape is moved so as to illustrate the substantially eight-shape while the tight state is held, and both the ends of the movable member 1 is pulled downward. The movable member 1 is lowered along the guide rails 5, 6 while cutting the side of the snow layer of the upper face of the inclined roof 2, and the snow layer upward of a cross section falls by self weight. A simple device and small drive force enable snow removing of mechanically good efficiency.

2. Description of the Related Art In winter snow areas, snow removal on a roof requires a great deal of labor and is a troublesome operation with a risk of falling. Various types of snow removal devices for roofs that can mechanically perform this snow removal operation without human intervention have been proposed, and in recent years, a snow melting type using heat has become mainstream. In this case, as a heat source, those utilizing the heat generated by an electric heater, those utilizing hot water produced by a hot water boiler using petroleum (kerosene), gas or electricity, and the like are known. In addition, maintenance costs are high. On the other hand, as a snow removing device that does not use thermal energy, there are a mechanical device having a belt conveyor function installed on a roof, and a device for removing snow by moving a snow pushing member guided on a rail installed on a roof up and down. It is known. According to these snow removal devices, a large driving force is required and the entire device becomes large, which not only requires a large amount of equipment cost, but also, except in winter, large-scale devices are exposed on the roof and the entire building is exposed. It detracts from aesthetics.

As a result, the movable member 1 is pulled downward at both ends, and descends while moving in parallel along the guide rails 5 and 6 on the upper surface of the inclined roof 2 as shown in FIG. Although omitted, the side surface of the snow layer piled on the upper surface of the inclined roof 2 is cut. By reciprocating the movable member 1 in the vertical direction as described above, the snow on the sloping roof 2 can be removed, and this snow removing operation is appropriately performed by a main switch (not shown) provided in the room. In addition, it is also possible to automatically drive.

For example, there is an automatic operation method using the snow sensor 20. When the snow amount on the sloping roof 2 reaches a certain height (for example, 5 cm), the driving mechanism 9 is used.

Next, there is a method of automatically operating the temperature sensor 21 in combination with the snow sensor 20. This method is set so that the temperature sensor 21 is turned on when the temperature is 0 ° C. or higher. In other words, even if the amount of snow on the sloping roof 2 is equal to or less than a certain height, the drive mechanism 9 operates when the air temperature is equal to or higher than 0 ° C., and the movable member 1 reciprocates to remove snow. This is to prevent the snow crystals from melting once after the outside air temperature reaches 0 ° C. or higher, and then cooling again to make it difficult to remove snow when the snow tightens and hardens like ice. In this case, if the temperature is below 0 ° C,
Although the temperature sensor 20 does not turn on, the snow sensor 20 turns on when the snow amount reaches a certain height, so that the movable member 1 can remove snow.

There is also a method of automatically operating the snow sensor 20 in combination with a timer (not shown). In this method, the height of the snow sensor, which can be set arbitrarily, is set to a constant value.
For example, it is set so as to operate at a set time in conjunction with a timer. According to this method, it is possible to periodically remove snow during snowfall. When the snowfall stops and the snowfall is equal to or less than a certain value, useless idle rotation of the movable member 1 by the timer is prevented.

Further, it is also possible to set so that the automatic operation is periodically performed at regular time intervals only by the timer when the snow accumulation is continued. It is preferable that an optimal automatic driving method is appropriately selected and set in consideration of the amount of snow in the use area and the snowfall situation at that time.

As described above, according to the present invention,
A movable member that reciprocates vertically along the upper surface of the sloping roof is provided, and the side of the snow layer is cut by this movable member to slide down the snow and remove the snow from the sloping roof, so a heat source is used. The present invention is advantageous in that snow can be removed mechanically and efficiently with a small driving force by using a simpler device than a conventional snow-plowing snow removing device. or,
It can be installed by simple installation work irrespective of existing buildings and new buildings without requiring large capital investment and maintenance costs, and it is possible to automatically or manually remove snow accumulated on sloping roofs safely and securely, etc. Also has excellent effects.
