Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the electric wire connection terminal of an electronic equipment which is capable of being restrained from rising in temperature and selecting an optimal electric wire, by a method wherein a the dissipating terminal equipped with a heat dissipating fin and a heat pipe is connected to the electric wire connection terminal of an electronic equipment. SOLUTION: A heat dissipating terminal 8 is composed of a heat dissipating terminal seat 9, a heat dissipating fin 10, and a heat pie 11. An electric current flows through an electric wire connection terminal, the heat dissipating terminal seat 9, and an electric wire terminal, and heat released from them due to their inner resistances and contact resistances between them is accumulated. The accumulated heat is dissipated into the air through the heat dissipating terminal 8. Released heat accumulated in the heat dissipating terminal seat 9 is transferred to the heat dissipating fin 10 through the heat pipe 11, due to a temperature difference between the terminal seat 9 and the heat dissipating fin 10 and dissipated into the air, whereby the electric wire connection terminal and the electric wire terminal are restrained from rising in temperature.

As described above, when the electric wire connection terminal portion of the electric equipment generates a large amount of heat, the generated heat is transmitted to the electric wire via the electric wire terminal and the temperature of the electric wire rises. It was necessary to use wires having a large diameter or a large rated current. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to suppress an increase in the temperature of a wire connection terminal of an electric appliance so that an optimum wire can be selected.

In FIG. 2, an electric wire 7 connected to the electric wire connection terminal 2 of the electric machine 1 is crimped to the electric wire terminal 5 and protected by an insulating cap 6. A heat radiating terminal 8, a washer 4, and a wire terminal 5 are tightly fixed to the wire connecting terminal portion 2 by a fastening bolt 3. The current flow paths are the electric equipment 1, the electric wire connection terminal portion 2, the heat radiation terminal seat 9, the electric wire terminal 5, the electric wire 7, and the electric wire connection terminal portion 2,
Heat is generated by the internal resistance of the heat radiation terminal seat 9 and the wire terminal 5 and the contact resistance between them, and the generated heat is stored in each. The stored heat generated is dissipated into the air by the heat dissipation terminal 8. The generated heat stored in the radiating terminal seat 9 is carried to the radiating fin 10 by the heat pipe 11 due to a temperature difference from the radiating fin 10 and dissipated into the air, thereby increasing the temperature of the wire connection terminal portion 2 and the wire terminal 5. Can be suppressed.

By connecting the heat radiation terminal of the present invention to the electric wire connection terminal of the electric machine, the temperature rise of the terminal can be suppressed, so that the temperature rise of the electric wire can be suppressed and the rated current of the electric wire can be reduced. A large current can be passed through the wire, or the diameter of the wire used can be reduced.
