Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. エンジンまたは他の原動機、連続可変速変速機(CVT)、および最終 駆動装置を備えている車両動力伝達経路を制御する方法であって、エンジン回転 数の動作範囲にわたりエンジンがその回転数の各値をエンジントルクの特定の値 と関連付ける性能「マップ」に動作を拘束されているものにおいて、エンジン回 転数を上昇させる運転者要求が応答を次のような連続する三つの段階で始まるよ うにプログラムされていることを特徴とする方法。 段階1 最初のエンジン回転数が最終駆動装置の速度を実質的に上昇させずに 所定の値(「係合回転数」)まで急速に上昇する。 段階2 エンジン回転数および最終駆動装置速度が共に上昇し続け、エンジン 回転数が運転者の要求に相応した値(「限界回転数」)に達するまで所定の関数 により関連づけられている。 段階3 最終駆動装置の速度の以後の変化中、限界回転数が維持されている。 2. 最初のエンジン回転数および限界回転数のすべての値に対して、所定の 関数をエンジン回転数および車両速度を互いに対してプロットするグラフの原点 を通過する実質上線形の関数により表すことができる請求項1に記載の方法。 3. 所定関数を、最初の回転数および限界回転数の値にかかわらず、車両速 度に対するエンジン回転数のグラフ上で実質的に一定傾斜の線として表すことが できる請求項1に記載の方法。 4. 関数の傾斜は同等の固定変速比変速機の典型的中間歯車の関数のものに 実質上等しい請求項3に記載の方法。 5. 中間歯車は第2の歯車に近似しており、たとえば、1000rpmのエ ンジン回転数につき10mphの車両速度である請求項4に記載の方法。 6. CVTの変速比範囲は体制間に同期変化のある二つの動作体制を設ける ことにより拡張されており、応答の段階(ii)の所定の関数は同期変化が生じてい るとき存在する変速比の傾斜に等しい傾斜を備えている車両動力伝達経路を制御 するための請求項3に記載の方法。 7. 係合回転数は被駆動要求に関連しており、要求が高くなれば更に高い値 の係合回転数をトリガーする請求項1に記載の方法。 8. 上記請求項のいずれかに従う方法により制御される車両動力伝達経路。
