Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.非対称性非球面角膜をもつ患者の眼球上で使用するコンタクトレンズであっ て、 該レンズは、前方表面、後方表面および基底部を有し、該後方表面は周縁部 分を含み、該周縁部分は、非対称性および非球面で、且つ前記該レンズの基底部 と少なくとも同一の広がりを有し、 前記周縁部分は、レンズを患者の眼球に装着したとき、レンズの該周縁部分 の下の角膜の対応する周縁部分と非対称的且つ非球面的に適合し、さらに、 前記コンタクトレンズの直径は、前記角膜より実質的に大きくない、コンタ クトレンズ。 2.前記周縁部分が、前記レンズの基底部と同一の広がりを有する請求の範囲第 1項のレンズ。 3.前記周縁部分が、約1.5mmまでの幅を有する請求の範囲第1項のレンズ 。 4.前記周縁部分が、約1mmまでの幅を有する請求の範囲第1項のレンズ。 5.前記後方表面が、さらに球面の中心部分を含む請求の範囲第1項のレンズ。 6.前記前方表面の少なくとも一部分が非対称性且つ非球面で、さらに前記後方 表面に対して所定の関係を有し、前記関係は前記レンズによって達成されるべき 光学的矯正を考慮に入れて決定される請求の範囲第5項のレンズ。 7.前記前方表面が中心部分をもち、前記前方表面の少なくとも中心部分が球面 である請求の範囲第5項レンズ。 8.前記基底部が非円形である請求の範囲第1項のレンズ。 9.前記レンズの基底部の直径が、最大でも約10ミリメートルである請求の範 囲第1項のコンタクトレンズ。 10.前記レンズが上方および下方四分弧を有し、さらに前記レンズが、 前記下方四分弧の一部が、前記上方四分弧の度数と異なる度数を有する請求 の範囲第1項のコンタクトレンズ。 11.前記レンズの前記下方四分弧の前記部分が複数の異なる度数を有する請求の 範囲第10項のコンタクトレンズ。 12.前記レンズの後方表面が、さらに中心部分と、前記中心部分と前記周縁部分 との間の中間ゾーンとを含み、該中間ゾーンは非対称性且つ非球面であり、該中 間ゾーンは、所定の比例的に離隔する関係に従って前記角膜の対応する中間ゾー ンに順応し、それにより前記レンズと前記角膜との間に、前記中間ゾーンの幅に 沿って前記周縁部分から前記中心部分へと徐々に増加する空隙を規定する請求の 範囲第1項のレンズ。 13.前記周縁部分が約1mmまでの幅を有する請求の範囲第12項のレンズ。 14.前記中心部分が球面である請求の範囲第12項のレンズ。 15.前記レンズが変動可能な厚さをもつ端を有する請求の範囲第1項のレンズ。 16.非対称性非球面角膜に使用するコンタクトレンズであっ て、該レンズは、 前方表面、後方表面および基底部を有し、前記後方表面は周縁部を含み、該 周縁部は、非対称性且つ非球面で、且つ前記レンズの基底部と少なくとも同一の 広がりを有し、 少なくとも前記周縁部分は、角膜の対応する部分と非対称的且つ非球面的に 適合し、さらに、 前記コンタクトレンズの直径は、前記角膜より実質的に大きくない、非対称 性非球面角膜に使用するコンタクトレンズ。 17.前記後方表面が、さらに中心部分を含み、該中心部分の基底部の直径が約7 ミリメートルを越えない請求の範囲第16項のレンズ。 18.基底部、第一および第二の経線、幾何学的中心、並びに前方および後方表面 を有するコンタクトレンズであって、前記表面が各々中心部分と周縁部分とを有 し、前記後方表面の周縁部分は前記基底部と少なくとも同一の広がりをもち、さ らに前記コンタクトレンズは、 前記後方表面及び前方表面の各々の球面状中心部分を含み、該前方表面の該 中心部分は頂点を有し、前記コンタクトレンズはさらに、 前記後方表面の前記周縁部分上の第一の点を有し、該第一の点は、前記第一 経線に沿って、前記コンタクトレンズの前記幾何学的中心から半径方向に所定距 離に存在し、前記コンタクトレンズはさらに、 前記後方表面の前記周縁部分上の第二の点を有し、該第 二の点は、前記第二経線に沿って、前記コンタクトレンズの前記幾何学中心から 半径方向に所定距離にあり、さらに、 前記第一および第二の点は、前記レンズに頂点で接する平面から異なる距離 にあるコンタクトレンズ。 19.中心部分と周縁部分とを含む後方表面を有するコンタクトレンズの製造方法 であって、該方法は、 前記コンタクトレンズを装着する角膜表面上の多数の点について、高さデー タを含む三次元的局所解剖データを発生する工程を含み、該データは前記角膜表 面の非対称性及び非球面性の両方についての上方を提供し、前記方法はさらに、 前記データと、前記レンズによって達成されるべき光学的矯正とに基づいて レンズ形状作製ファイルを作製する工程と、 前記レンズ形状作製ファイルを用いてレンズ材料に形状を与え、後方表面を 有するコンタクトレンズを作製する工程とを含み、該後方表面は周縁部分を含み 、該周縁部分は、非対称性且つ非球面であり、且つ前記レンズの基底部と少なく とも同一の広がりを有し、 前記レンズを患者の眼球の装着場所に配置したとき、前記周縁部分が、レン ズの対応する周縁部分の下に存在する角膜の対応する周縁部分と非対称的且つ非 球面的に適合し、 前記コンタクトレンズの大きさが前記角膜より大きくない、コンタクトレン ズの製造方法。 20.前記周縁部分が、前記周縁部分の基底部から前記中心部 分の基部湾曲まで広がる、請求の範囲第19項の方法。 21.前記レンズがさらに、前記周縁部分と前記中心部分の基部湾曲との間に中間 ゾーンを有し、該中間ゾーンは、レンズを前記角膜に装着したとき、所定の比例 的に離隔する関係に従って、該中間ゾーンの下にある角膜表面の中間部分の三次 元的形状と順応する、請求の範囲第19項の方法。
