Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.溶接光の強さの変化に応じて、高光吸収状態と低光吸収状態の間、並びに その反対を急速にスイッチできる溶接ガラスフィルター構造体であって、透明な 、電極を装備したプレートの間に配置されたネマチック型液晶セルの2つを有し 、前記プレートは電圧源に接合可能であり、分子配向の方向を決定する被膜が設 けられ、それらの限界表面で相互の或る角変位を持って分子配列の方向を規定す る被膜が設けられ、これによって前記プレートの上の電極被膜の間の電圧の不存 在下に前記液晶を光学的にねじれさせるものであり、ここに前記複数のセルはそ れぞれ相互に消し合う複数の偏光フィルターの間に配置され、またここに分子配 列方向は、電圧が印加されたとき前記複数のセルの各非対称的な光吸収の間で補 償効果が得られるように変えられるものにおいて、前記複数の分子配列の方向の 間の複数のセルの角変位の少なくとも1つが90°とは異なり85°又はこれよ り小さいことを特徴とする前記フィルター構造体。 2.前記90°とは異なる配向方向が20°と85°の間の角度を示すことを 特徴とする請求の範囲1のフィルター構造体。 3.前記配列方向の間の90°のねじれ角とは異なる結晶の少なくとも厚さが 、厚さと、異なった偏光方向に付いての最高の及び最低の屈折率の間の差との積 が大きくとも0.4μmであり、各セルが前記複数の分子方向決定被膜の間の角 差異(angular difference)が大きくとも70°であること を特徴とする請求の範囲2のフィルター構造体。 4.前記厚さが大きくとも3μmであることを特徴とする請求の範囲2〜3の いずれか1つのフィルター構造体。 5.前記2つのセルが相互に概して同じであり、前記電源が前記 複数のセルに等しい電圧を与えるように適合されていることを特徴とする請求の 範囲1のフィルター構造体。 6.それらの間に各セルが配置されている複数の偏光フィルター、角度90° で相互に交差している偏光方向を有することを特徴とする請求の範囲1のフィル ター構造体。 7.その分子方向決定被膜が90°未満の相互の角変位を有する複数のセルの 少なくとも1つが、その偏光方向が各最も近い被膜の方向に一致する複数の偏光 フィルターの間に配置されていることを特徴とする請求の範囲1又は2のフィル ター構造物。 8.90°とは異なる複数の配向方向の間の鋭角の等分線が、2つの包囲する 偏光フィルターの偏光方向の間の等分線と概して平行であることを特徴とする請 求の範囲1のフィルター構造体。 9.90°とは異なる複数の配向方向の間の鋭角の等分線が、2つの包囲する 偏光フィルターの1つの偏光方向と概して平行であることを特徴とする請求の範 囲1のフィルター構造体。 10.前記複数の液晶の少なくとも1つが、一方では、厚さと異なった複数の 偏光方向の最高の及び最低の屈折率の間の差との積と、他方では、図7に示した 曲線上の一点に対応する前記複数の配向方向の間の角度と、の間に或る比を有す ることを特徴とする請求の範囲2のフィルター構造体。
