Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition excellent in emulsion stability, safety and usability, containing ethylhydroxyethyl cellulose and a polyion complex composed of two kinds of polyelectrolytes with electric charges opposite to each other. CONSTITUTION: This W/O-type emulsion composition is obtained by formulating an oily phase with 0.1-20wt.% of ethylhydroxyethyl cellulose as liposoluble polymer and by formulating an aqueous phase with 0.01-5wt.% of a polyion complex which is derived from a cationized cellulose and hyaluronic acid at the weight ratio of (9:1) to (8:2). Besides, the composition is also incorporated, as necessary, with a humectant, medicinal agent, ultraviolet light absorber, antiseptic agent, antioxidant, etc. Specifically, the composition is prepared by first emulsifying a part of the oily phase to O/W type followed by gradually adding the resultant emulsion to the rest of the oily phase.

2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, many studies on emulsification have been carried out, many emulsifiers have been developed, and the emulsification technology has made remarkable progress, and very stable emulsions have been widely used in all industries. However, most of them use nonionic surfactants containing polyoxyethylene chains, anionic surfactants represented by fatty acid soaps, and amphoteric surfactants as emulsifiers, which are especially safe among general consumers. Many have anxiety about sex.

Therefore, the use of a water-soluble polymer, which is considered to be highly safe in recent years, as an emulsifier has been studied. However, compared with the so-called "surfactants" such as the above-mentioned nonionic surfactants, the water-soluble polymer has a small interfacial tension lowering ability, so that the emulsifying power is relatively small and the emulsion stability is poor. In addition, since the emulsion system is easily destroyed during application, it is not so familiar with the skin and so-called "repellency" is recognized.

In addition to the above-mentioned essential components, a moisturizing agent, a drug, an ultraviolet absorber, a preservative, and an antioxidant may be added to the emulsion composition of the present invention. Also,
The ratio of oil phase to water phase can be selected within a wide range. The method for obtaining the emulsified composition of the present invention depends on the method for preparing a usual W / O type emulsified composition, but a part of the oil phase is first emulsified into the O / W type, and this is gradually added to the remaining oil phase. It is also possible to add it to.

[Table 2] As shown in Table 2, when emulsified using EHEC and PJR, an emulsion with good stability could not be obtained unless a large amount of PJR was blended (Comparative Examples 1 and 5). Large-scale use is not preferable in terms of safety. Also,
When emulsified using EHEC and HA (Comparative Example 4,
No stable W / O type emulsion composition was obtained in 6).
Further, when emulsified with a composition in which PIC becomes a precipitate (Comparative Examples 2 and 3), a stable W / O type emulsified composition could not be obtained. On the other hand, in Examples 1 to 3 according to the present invention, O / W type emulsion compositions having good stability were obtained. PIC was uniformly dispersed in this, and phase (B) heated to 70 ° C. was gradually added under stirring with a disper, after completion of the addition, a disper treatment was performed at 6000 rpm for 2 minutes, followed by stirring and cooling to obtain Example 4. . The obtained moisture cream had excellent stability over time, had very good spreadability when applied to the skin, and had use characteristics in which "repellency" was not observed. In addition, it was confirmed that there were no safety problems.
