Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable browning of a surface of a synthetic resin pipe of an inner layer and occurring of its fine cracks to be prevented by intercepting ultraviolet rays of sunlight by a method wherein a coated layer of a specific thickness consisting of an nonwoven fabric and a thermosetting resin is provided onto an outer peripheral side of the synthetic resin pipe material. CONSTITUTION:In a synthetic resin 1, a coated layer 4 wherein an nonwoven fabric consisting of a polyester resin is impregnated with an unsaturated polyester resin is provided onto a surface of a rigid vinyl chloride pipe 2, and a release agent (grease) 3 is provided between the rigid vinyl chloride pipe 2 and the coated layer 4. The coated layer 4 of an outer layer of the synthetic resin pipe section 1 must have a thickness of 0.2-2.0mm. When it is 0.2mm or under, the coated layer may be broken when a fiber is wound thereon. When strength is low and the thickness is 2.0mm or over, its peeling off is troublesome. Further, through the thickness is not 2.0mm or over, ultraviolet rays of sunlight can be intercepted. Small consumptions of a fiber of the fiber reinforced resin layer and of a thermosetting resin surface, and a cost can be controlled low.

2. Description of the Related Art As a means for transporting various fluids, a synthetic resin composite pipe which is lightweight and has excellent corrosion resistance and strength is used. These are obtained by reinforcing the outer circumference of a synthetic resin tube made of a thermoplastic resin or the like with a coating layer made of glass fiber rovings (rovings) and a thermosetting resin. When connecting these pipes, it is necessary to make a notch in the coating layer on the outer periphery of the synthetic resin pipe with a saw, peel off the coating layer to expose the end of the synthetic resin pipe, and connect it to the pipe joint. (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 4-191584).

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] The outer periphery of a synthetic resin tube made of a thermoplastic resin or the like is covered with glass fiber roving (roving).
A material reinforced with a coating layer composed of a thermosetting resin is effective for preventing browning of the tube surface and generation of minute cracks due to ultraviolet rays of sunlight such as vinyl chloride resin.
However, when the outer diameter of the synthetic resin pipe is 38 mm, the thickness of the conventionally used outer peripheral coating layer is 2.5 mm or more.
It was 3.0 mm, it was difficult to peel it off, and the peelability of the coating layer was poor. Also, it did not require this thickness to block the ultraviolet rays of sunlight. Further, there is a problem in that it is difficult to manufacture a thin coating layer with roving of glass fiber (roving) because of poor impregnation property.

The coating layer of the outer layer of the synthetic resin pipe material of the present invention must be 0.2 to 2.0 mm. If it is 0.2 mm or less, it may be cut when the fiber is wound, the strength is low, and if it is 2.0 mm or more, it is troublesome to peel it off. Even if it is possible to block the ultraviolet rays of sunlight, the amount of fibers and thermosetting resin used in the fiber-reinforced resin layer can be small,
The cost can be kept low.

The non-woven fabric is a cloth produced by mechanically, chemically and thermally treating a fibrous sheet (web) without passing through the form of a yarn, and joining the fibrous sheet (web) with the adhesive or the fusion force of the fibers themselves. A synthetic fiber nonwoven fabric such as polyester fiber nonwoven fabric and a natural fiber nonwoven fabric such as cotton are preferably used. The same material as the thermosetting resin,

As the thermosetting resin, unsaturated polyester resin, ester resin, acrylic resin, epoxy resin and the like are preferably used. Between the synthetic resin pipe material and the coating layer of the outer layer, a release layer such as grease, starch paste, a film made of polyethylene or polyester, or a tube may be provided.
Furthermore, it is preferable because it facilitates the peeling of the outer coating layer.

Since the non-woven fabric and the thermosetting resin are the same material, the impregnating property is good, no bubbles are generated, and the workability is good. The manufactured synthetic resin pipe of the present invention was piped in a place where it was actually exposed to sunlight, and the weather resistance was examined. As a result, even after one year, the inner surface of the synthetic resin tube was not browned or had microscopic cracks.
