Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a solid power cosmetic useful as eye shadow, cheek rouge or foundation, having excellent gloss, transparent feeling, make-up durability, impact strength, by blending powder containing a fixed amount or more of mica-based powder with polymethyl methacrylate. CONSTITUTION: This solid power cosmetic comprises powder containing >=60wt.%, preferably >=70wt.% of mica-based powder (preferably 60-90wt.% based on the whole amount) and polymethyl methacrylate (preferably 10-30wt.% based on the whole amount). The solid power cosmetic can be produced by blending powder containing >=60wt.% of mica-based powder with a cosmetic raw material containing polymethyl methacrylate, then spraying a perfume, uniformly mixing, grinding by a grinder, passing through a sieve and compression molding the powder in a middle plate. The cosmetic has excellent gloss, transparent feeling, non-oiliness, compatibility with skin, color durability and impact resistance.

時でのよれが大きいといった欠点があった。本発明者ら
は、固型粉末化粧料の上記問題点について鋭意検討した
結果、マイカ系粉末が60重量%以上の粉末を含む系に
おいて、ポリメタクリル酸メチルを配合したならば、ポ
リメタクリル酸メチルがバインダーとして働き、上記問
題点が解決されることを見出して本発明を完成するに至
った。なお、ポリメタクリル酸メチルを使用性の向上剤
として配合した例は今までにもあるが、成型性を向上さ
せるためのバインダーとして配合した例はこれまでにな
かった。

発明で用いられるマイカ系粉末には、マイカ、雲母チタ
ン系のパール剤があり、好ましくは雲母チタン系のパー
ル剤である。配合量は粉末のうちの60重量%以上であ
り、好ましくは70重量%以上である。60重量%未満
では光沢、透明感が不足する。本発明の固型粉末化粧料
には、マイカ系粉末の他に本発明の効果を損なわない範
囲でマイカ系粉末以外の粉末の配合が可能である。本発
明で用いられる粉末としては、タルク,セリサイト等の
無機粉末、ポリアミド粉末,ポリエチレン粉末,シリコ
ーン樹脂粉末等の有機粉末、二酸化チタン,酸化鉄,黄
酸化鉄,低次酸化チタン,群青,紺青等の無機顔料、赤
色201号,橙色203号,黄色4号,青色1号等の有
機顔料等が挙げられる。これらは一種を用いても良い
し、二種以上を用いても良い。粉末としては、疎水化処
理粉末等の処理粉末も使用できる。マイカ系粉末を含む
粉末全体の配合量は、固型粉末化粧料の全体量に対して
60〜90重量%である。
