Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a pillow suitable for the restful sleep, wherein a foamed padding showing the specific impact resilience and hysteresis loss is applied. CONSTITUTION:A padding 1 of pillow comprises the foamed article of synthetic resin such as polyurethane foam which is characterized by the low impact resilience of not greater than 5%, and by the energy-loss by hysteresis in compression being of from 50% to 90%. The foam material provides an extremely elevated dispersion of compression. A jacket material 2 of pillow comprises polyurethane foam 4 of the cross-linked three dimensional structure showing a high air-permeability and heat dissipation. A reinforcing substrate 3 is of an elastic polyurethane foam for general use for the purpose of adjusting the height of pillow. Since the low impact resilience of padding material 1 has an extremely high pressure dispersion, head 5 can be supported in the restful state.

2. Description of the Related Art Pillows are indispensable for humans to sleep, and their basic functions are required to satisfy the following conditions. Support the head at a certain height. Supports the head in a stable state. Dissipates heat and moisture generated from the head. Although pillows made of many materials and combinations thereof have been used for many years in search of pillows that satisfy these requirements, it is difficult to obtain pillows that satisfy many people.

Conventionally, pillows used at bedtime are generally made of a cloth bag with 1) natural materials such as rice husks, buckwheat husks, panya, cotton, and feathers 2) or various plastic sections. Alternatively, fine particles are enclosed. 3) Alternatively, various synthetic resin foams are known as an encapsulating material. However, for example, the most commonly used materials are rice husks, buckwheat husks, or pillows that use natural materials such as red beans and soybeans, which are problematic in terms of hygiene such as the occurrence of insects and mold. In addition, there is a problem in weight and handling, and in the case of bread, cotton, feathers, etc., there is a problem that so-called deviation occurs and stability is lost. Also, in the case of various pieces and fine particles, manufacturing equipment is required and the process becomes complicated, and the number of manufacturing steps increases.
Furthermore, although various synthetic resin foams are used as the encapsulant, they are lightweight, but it is difficult to stabilize the head due to their cushioning properties (large impact resilience), and they accumulate heat.
On the contrary, there are difficulties such as disturbing sleep.

DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION The present invention supports the head at a constant height. Supports the head in a stable state. Dissipates heat and moisture generated from the head. The basic functions of the pillow such as the above are satisfied, and the head instability at bedtime caused by the generation and weight of insects and molds or the large impact resilience of the conventional pillow as described above, Provides a comfortable pillow without the drawbacks of heat storage.

According to the present invention, first, at least a part of the inner packing material of the pillow has a synthetic resin foam having a impact resilience of 5% or less and a hysteresis loss rate of 50% to 90% upon compression. A pillow characterized by comprising a core material made of a body (hereinafter referred to as a low impact resilience foam), and a cover member having breathability and heat dissipation property at a portion where at least the head of the core material contacts. . The impact resilience referred to here is JIS-K-64.
The test method of No. 01, the impact resilience of 5% or less is for suppressing the cushioning property and maintaining the stability of the head, and the hysteresis loss rate is ASTM-D-
According to the test method of 3574, when the loss rate is 50% or less, the cushioning property is still strong and the head becomes unstable, and when the value is 90% or more, the shape of the pillow cannot be maintained as a matter of course.

The core material made of synthetic resin foam is not particularly limited as long as the impact resilience is 5% or less and the hysteresis loss rate at the time of compression is 50 to 90%. It is suitable. Also, the amount of the core material made of synthetic resin foam used is 30 to 80 of the volume of the entire pillow.
% Is preferable. Further, the air-permeable and heat-dissipating member covering at least a part of the core material is not particularly limited, but a urethane foam (SF foam (Bridgestone) having a three-dimensional net-like skeleton structure is used. (Manufactured by the company) and the like can be preferably used. In addition, if you use a product with unevenness such as profile processing, in terms of breathability and heat dissipation,
More preferable.

By using the above-described low-impact resilience foam as the core material, when the head is placed, it can be appropriately depressed and kept in a stable state according to the weight of each person's head. By adopting a cover member having breathability and heat dissipation in at least the portion of the core material in contact with the head,
You get a pillow to sleep comfortably without storing heat.

1 is a cross-sectional view showing an embodiment of the pillow of the present invention, in which 1 is made of polyurethane foam or the like, has a rebound resilience of 5% or less, and a hysteresis loss rate of 50% to 50%. A foam core material having a low impact resilience having a compression characteristic of 90%. This type of foam has an extremely high pressure dispersibility as compared with the conventional polyurethane foam. Reference numeral 2 denotes a surface covering material made of a material having air permeability and heat dissipation that covers the outer surface of the core material 1, for example, a urethane foam having a three-dimensional network skeleton structure. Numeral 3 is a reinforcing material which is arranged to reinforce the bottom of the pillow body or adjust the height, and is made of a general urethane foam having elasticity, but a foam having low impact resilience is used. Alternatively, other materials may be used.
