The wind direction changing blades were rotatably supported. When the airflow direction changing blade is in the horizontal state, the air discharged from the air outlet is guided in the horizontal direction, and in the vertical state, the air discharged from the air outlet is guided in the vertical direction. Further, by setting the wind direction changing blades in a vertical state when the operation is stopped, the air outlet is not visible from one side (for example, the front side) of the housing, and the design of the air conditioner is improved.

In a wind direction changing device that is rotatably supported in the opening / closing direction by a support shaft that is pivotally supported on the side surface of the ventilation passage that connects to the outlet, one end of which is connected to the interlocking shaft of one wind direction changing blade so that it can rotate in the opening / closing direction. And the other wind direction changing vane provided on the other wind direction changing vane, and when the other wind direction changing vane is rotated by a predetermined angle in the opening direction, the pad for hitting the other end of the interlocking device to rotate the one wind direction changing vane in the opening direction. And a spring for urging the interlocking device to rotate the other wind direction changing blade in the closing direction when the other wind direction changing blade is rotated in the closing direction.

3 is a suction port provided on the front surface of the housing, 4 is a heat exchanger incorporated in the housing, 5 is a crossflow fan, 6 is a casing of the crossflow fan, and 7 is arranged below the heat exchanger 4. The drain van has a blow-out portion 8 formed integrally with the drain van 7 below the drain van. The blow-out portion 8 has a blow-out port 9 directed obliquely downward from the housing 1, and the blow-out port 9 extends from the front surface 10 to the bottom surface 11 of the housing 1.
It extends. The air outlet 9 has one wind direction changing blade 13 rotatably supported by one support shaft 12 so as to be substantially flush with the front surface 10 of the housing 1, and the other so as to be substantially flush with the bottom surface 11. The other wind direction changing blade 15 which is rotatably supported by the support shaft 14 is arranged. 16 is a projecting piece integrally formed with one of the support shafts 12, 17 is an interlocking tool, and one end 18 is an interlocking shaft 19 of the projecting piece 16.
It is rotatably connected. Reference numeral 20 is a spring, one end of which is fixed to the upper frame 21 of the blowing portion 8, and the other end 22 is connected to the interlocking tool 17. Reference numeral 23 is a guide rib provided on the side surface of the blowout portion 8 and forms a locus portion 25 of the pin 24 of the interlocking tool 17. Reference numeral 26 is a patch tool integrally formed with the other support shaft 14, and a substantially U-shaped notch 27 is provided at the tip. The other support shaft 14 is connected to a rotary shaft of a drive motor (not shown).
When this drive motor is operated, the pad 26 of the other wind direction changing vane 14 moves in the direction of rotation of the hands of the clock (see the solid arrow).

10, and the other wind direction changing blade 15 is flush with the bottom surface 11. In this way, when the operation is stopped, the two wind direction changing blades 13 and 15 prevent the inside of the air outlet 9 from being seen from the front and the bottom.

(第3図参照)。Next, when the operation is started, the pad 26 of the other wind direction changing blade 15 rotates in the direction of the solid line arrow in FIG. 2 by the operation of the drive motor (not shown). At this time, the cutout portion 27 of the pad 26 does not contact the pin 24 until the pad 26 is in a substantially vertical state, so that one wind direction changing blade 13 maintains the vertical state. That is, one wind direction changing blade 13 remains vertical (does not move) until the other wind direction changing blade 15 is substantially flush with the bottom surface 11 from the vertical state. (First
(See Fig. 2). When the other wind direction changing blade 15 is in the vertical state, the notch 27 of the pad 26 hits the pin 24 (see FIG. 3).

(See the drawing), and the pad 26 also rotates in the direction of the solid line (see FIG. 4). This rotation moves the pin 24 downward, and along with this movement, one of the wind direction changing blades is moved through the interlocking tool 17.
13 starts to move from the vertical direction to the horizontal direction about one support shaft 12. The one wind direction changing blade 13 also moves in parallel with the other wind direction changing blade 15 until the other wind direction changing blade 15 becomes substantially horizontal (see FIG. 5). Here the other spindle
By increasing the distance from 14 to the cutout portion 27 of the pad 26, the pin 24 can be reliably moved even if the driving force (torque) of the drive motor applied to the other support shaft 14 is slightly weak. Moreover, the contact area between the notch portion 27 and the pin 24 is relatively small, and therefore the frictional force generated at this portion is also small, and these two wind direction changing blades 13 and 15 can be rotated smoothly.

Since the interlocking tool 17 is constantly urged by the broken line arrow in FIGS. 4 and 5 by the spring 20, one wind direction changing blade 13 also follows the movement of the pad 26. Also, the pin 24 of the interlocking tool 17
Is only moved in the substantially arcuate locus portion 25 by the guide ribs 23, the pad 26 returns from the vertical state (state of FIG. 3) to the horizontal state (state of FIG. 2), and the pad 26
Even if the notch 27 is separated from the pin 24, the guide rib 23 serves as a stopper for the pin 24, and one of the wind direction changing blades 13 is kept in a vertical state.

Further, when the temperature of the air discharged from the air outlet 9 is low at the start of the heating operation or during the continuous operation after the indoor temperature reaches the set value, one of the wind direction changing blades 13 is set to the vertical state as shown in FIG. If the other wind direction changing vane 15 is held in the state of being directed toward the indoor wall surface 2 side (see FIG. 1), the discharged air flows along the indoor wall surface and does not agitate the air in the room so much that a cold air feels. It is possible to prevent the user from feeling warm air. At this time, since one of the airflow direction changing blades 13 is kept in the vertical state, the air discharged from the air outlet 9 is not discharged to the front of the air outlet 9.
