らの樹脂はホモポリマーとしても使用できるが他の成分
を加えてコポリマーとしたり、可塑剤を配合してその物
性を変更することができる。またこれらの生物分解性の
熱可塑性樹脂には可塑剤を添加して柔軟性を付与するこ
とにより成形性が向上し使用しやすいものとなる。可塑
剤の配合量は通常5〜20重量%であるが、好ましくは
10〜15重量%である。配合量が5重量%未満である
と成形時に柔軟性の不足から、割れや、偏肉等が発生
し、また20重量%を越えると保形成の面で問題が起こ
る。これらの可塑剤としては、生物分解性の物が好まし
く、クエン酸エステルや乳酸エステル等が使用される。
これらのエステルとしてはメチルエステル、エチルエス
