りである。すなわち、熱収縮性樹脂からなる外層と熱溶
着性樹脂からなる内層とを積層した帯状のフィルムを、
上方から下方にかけて連続して移動する過程で筒状に
し、その縦方向の重合部を縦シールして筒状の包装体を
成形する筒状成形工程と、筒状包装体の下端を横シール
するとともに粘性物を充填した後、筒状包装体の上端を
扱いて横シールする充填封止工程と、充填封止された包
装体を温水に浸漬して、積層フィルムを収縮させ、粘性
物を圧迫する収縮圧迫工程と、を順に経る粘性物充填包

図1は本発明に係る粘性物の充填包装方法を実施する装
置を例示している。その装置は充填包装装置1と浸漬装
置2に大別され、浸漬装置2は図面上縮小して模式的に
示されている。以下、粘性物の充填包装方法を工程別に
説明する。 (1)筒状成形工程 熱収縮性樹脂からなる外層と熱溶着性樹脂からなる内層
とを接着剤を介して積層したフィルムは巻ロールA1と
して準備される。そして、巻ロールA1から供給される
帯状のフィルムA2は、充填ローダ3の周囲を取り巻く
整形筒4を介して円筒状に整形され、順次上方から下方
にかけて連続して移動する。フィルムを移動する過程に
おいて、フィルムの縦方向の重合部を縦シール機5に内
蔵された縦シールヒータによって熱シールされ、連続状
をなす筒状の包装体A3が成形される。 (2)充填封止工程 フラワーペーストなどの粘性物は、予め混練され、定量
移送ポンプ(図示せず)によって充填ローダ3より筒状
の包装体A3内に充填される。その粘性物の充填率は、
フィルムの収縮に適合するように、筒状包装体A3の最
大充填容量の60〜95%程度とする。6,6は筒状の
包装体A3を下方に送る一対の送りロールであり、その
下方には一対の扱きロール7,7が配置されている。粘
性物の充填された筒状の包装体A4は、その下端におい
て粘性物を扱いて除去された部分を一対の横シール機
8,8によって熱シールされる。次いで、連続状に連な
る上記包装体A4は順次下方に移動し、移動した包装体

れ、無端状のコンベア21に取り付けられたリテーナ2
2に収容される。リテーナ22に収容された包装体A6
は連続して浴槽23内の温水(40℃〜98℃)に浸漬
して、浸漬した包装体A7の積層フィルムを収縮させ、
粘性物を圧迫する。次いで、浴槽23より取り出された
包装体A8はシュータ24により移送され、乾燥後箱詰
めされる。図3は収縮圧迫工程後の包装体A8を示すも
