Abstract

PURPOSE:To make high deodorizing effect of a persimmon fruit juice durable for a long time by carrying the persimmon fruit juice on an activated carbon fiber. CONSTITUTION:A persimmon fruit juice is spread on an activated carbon fiber. This persimmon fruit juice can be obtd. e.g. by compressing or grinding raw persimmon fruits from which seeds are removed if necessary, and separating and recovering the fruit juice. As the kind of the persimmons, either sweet persimmons (completely sweet and incompletely sweet persimmons) or astringent persimmons (completely astringent and incompletely astringent persimmons) can be used. The degree of ripeness of the persimmon is not specifically restricted but an unripe fruit is more pref. In addition, the activated carbon fiber is not specifically restricted and either coal type, petroleum type, phenolic resin type, PAN type or cellulosic type can be used. In addition, the amt. of carrying or spreading of the persimmon fruit juice liq. to the activated carbon fiber (in terms of solid content) is pref. about 15-30% based on the amt. of the fiber. As the result, high deodorizing effect of the persimmon fruit juice can be kept for a long time.

2. Description of the Related Art It is known that persimmon juice has an effect of deodorizing or deodorizing odors from various sources, as disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 3-61457.
However, with the use means described in this publication, it is difficult to say that its deodorizing performance is satisfactory. For example,
According to the disclosure of this publication, when adsorbed on a porous biscuit material, or when impregnated into a fiber material such as paper and used, a sufficient deodorizing or deodorizing effect is not exhibited,
The duration of the effect is also relatively short.

Means for Solving the Problems As a result of earnest research in view of the problems of the prior art as described above, the present inventor found that when persimmon juice is carried on activated carbon fiber (hereinafter referred to as ACF). , It was found that the high deodorizing or deodorizing effect of persimmon juice can be maintained for a long period of time.

The persimmon juice used in the present invention can be obtained by, for example, pressing or crushing raw persimmon fruits from which seeds have been removed, if necessary, in the same manner as in the production of ordinary juices, and separating and recovering the juice. can get. The type of persimmon may be either sweet persimmon (complete sweet persimmon and incomplete sweet persimmon) and astringent persimmon (complete perfect persimmon and incomplete sweet persimmon). The degree of maturity of persimmon is not particularly limited, but unripe fruits are preferable. This is because the sugar content increases as the fruit ripens, and the amount of the deodorizing or deodorizing active ingredient relatively decreases. In addition, persimmon juice may be used after removing sugars that hardly exert the deodorizing or deodorizing effect or by concentrating to increase the concentration of the active ingredient. In the specification of the present application, not only the fruit juice itself separated from the fruit, but also sugar juice removed from the fruit juice, fruit juice concentrated, and additives (antioxidant for preventing deterioration of the active ingredient in the fruit juice, etc. "Persimmon juice liquid", including those with added agents, preservatives, antifungal agents, etc.

Further, the ACF may be used in a state of being processed into an arbitrary form such as a felt shape, a paper shape, a plate shape by a wet or dry method according to a conventional method, or a porous base material (foamed resin, metal). (Netted sheet, plastic netted sheet, metal perforated plate, plastic perforated plate, etc.) may be used after being subjected to flocking processing. Furthermore, in the present invention, a honeycomb paper obtained by secondary processing of these primary processed products, a honeycomb block,
It may be used in the form of a pleated felt, a sintered sheet, a sintered block or the like. Therefore, in the present specification, not only the ACF itself but also the above-mentioned primary processed product and secondary processed product are referred to as “ACF”.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION According to the present invention, the persimmon juice liquid preliminarily supported on the activated carbon fiber has a large outer surface area, a large specific surface area, and a fine pore characteristic different from that of the granular activated carbon (for example, fine pores). Due to the radius distribution, the surface characteristics of the pores based on the difference in the pore structure, etc.), it specifically reacts with the odorous components adsorbed on the activated carbon fibers to efficiently decompose and remove the odorous components.
