Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the discharge of a rocket or a satellite or the like and to simplify the procedure when a high power RF signal is switched in a pressure zone in which the rocket or satellite is easily discharged. CONSTITUTION:A voltage is applied to a base of a transistor(TR) 5 only when a command signal S is inputted between terminals (A) and (C) or between terminals (B) and (C) of a coaxial switch 1, an RF signal is fed to a circulator 2, a capacitor 3 and the TR 5 to a resistor 6 to interrupt the input to the coaxial switch 1. On the other hand, the changeover of the coaxial switch 1 switch 1 is finished in a time when the command signal S is applied thereto. Since no RF high power is applied to the coaxial switch 1 during the changeover operation, it is not possible to damage the coaxial switch 1 and not required to interrupt the RF signal at the changeover.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In the above-described conventional RF switching, in order to eliminate the fear of discharge and perform switching reliably,
There is a disadvantage that it is necessary to repeat the three steps of turning off the RF signal once, allowing the RF switching contact to be switched, and then turning the RF signal back on to input it.

Further, if the contacts are switched without turning off the RF signal, there is a risk that discharge may occur, which may lead to damage to the equipment.

The object of the present invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, and when switching, the RF signal is automatically turned off and then input.
It is to provide an RF switching device that requires only one switching procedure.

The embodiment shown in FIG. 1 receives RF from the outside.
A coaxial switch 1 for RF signal switching, which is driven by a switching command signal and has a mechanical switching contact,
A circulator 2 that switches between a high-power RF signal and a low-power received signal, a capacitor 3, a coil 4, a transistor 5, a resistor 6, and diodes 7a and 7b. In these configurations, the coaxial switch 1 and the circulator 2 have the same contents as conventional ones, and other components directly relate to the present invention.

Between the (A)-(C) terminals of the coaxial switch 1,
Alternatively, when the command signal S does not enter between the (B)-(C) terminals, no voltage is applied to the base of the transistor 5 through the diodes 7a and 7b, so that the transistor 5 is turned off. Therefore, the RF signal is input to the coaxial switch 1 through the circulator 2. On the other hand, between the (A)-(C) terminals of the coaxial switch 1 or (B)-
When the command signal S enters between the (C) terminals, a part of the command signal passes through the diodes 7a and 7b and enters the base of the transistor 5, so that the transistor 5 is turned on. At this time, since the RF signal flows from the circulator 2 to the resistor 6 through the capacitor 3 and the transistor 5, the RF signal is not input to the coaxial switch 1.

The command signal is formed as a pulse, and its pulse width is long enough to complete the switching operation of the coaxial switch 1, and at that time, the RF signal does not enter the coaxial switch 1. Therefore, the fear of discharge can be eliminated.

As described above, according to the present invention, by adding a circuit for avoiding RF power at the time of switching to the coaxial switch, the input of the RF signal to the coaxial switch is automatically turned off at the time of switching. This has the effect of fundamentally eliminating the possibility of discharge and requiring only one switching procedure.
